Musée du Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac presents the exhibition “Bollywood Superstars.” till 14 January 2024. History of Indian cinema.
This exhibition traces the arrival of cinema in India, its inspiration in the Indian tradition of fairy tales, performance, mythology and storytelling, its rise as a unifying tool after British colonialism, to the current Bollywood “superstar” system.

Part of’A Season in India, the museum offers a season of plays and concerts to explore at the Claude Lévi-Strauss theater.
