Jakarta: President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said developing countries need help in the areas of technology and green investment. This is about accelerating the reduction of emissions around the world.

“We are developing countries, we really want to accelerate the reduction of emissions, but we need support for technology transfer and green investments,” the president said during the first session of the G20 summit in India at Bharat Mandapam, IECC, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The president said funding to accelerate emissions reductions was very important. Cooperation between government and the private sector must continue.
