Apple begins rolling out iOS 17.5 beta, here's all the new features

Apple has started rolling out the second beta version of the fifth installation of the iOS 17 operating system. The iOS 17.5 beta update brings several new features and changes and mainly focuses on the changes that are expected to arrive according to the guidelines of the EU.
Here's everything new in the iOS 17.5 beta update.
App downloads from websites
As part of the iOS 17.5 beta update, Apple introduced support for web application distribution in the European Union.This will allow developers to distribute apps through their official websites. Note that this is an EU-exclusive feature and will not be available on iPhones operating in other regions.
Mobile Device Management (MDM)
Apple is also offering a new MDM solution to make it easier for users to set up a new device.
Apple News+
Apple News+ now includes a new word game called Quartiles. The game will only be available to paid Apple News+ users.
Podcast widgets
Apple has already added a Podcast widget to the home screen and lock screen. With the latest beta update, the widget now features a background that changes depending on the art of the podcast currently playing.
FaceTime
Apart from this, FaceTime is expected to get a new feature called “Block All Participants” in group calls. This will help users to block unwanted calls.
iOS 17.5 also introduces support for third-party item trackers, alerting users when they are nearby. It also includes references to a Battery Health menu for iPads, likely showing capacity and number of charge cycles. Additionally, there are hints of an Apple Pencil “V4” with a potential squeeze feature to complete the action.
