A traditional Indian dance performance will be held Friday evening in Saint-Florent-sur-Cher

In this context, the Louis-Aragon cultural center in Saint-Florent-sur-Cher presents a performance of the bharata natyam dance this Friday at 8:30 p.m.

Bharata natyam is a traditional dance from South India, specifically from the state of Tamil Nadu.

Originally, this sacred dance was practiced in temples by women which is called devadasi. During the Tamil night, three professional dancers from the Three Realms association will express themselves, thanks to their graceful hand and foot strokes, rhythm and precise head and eye movements.
