Saturday 28 October: jazz trio at 6pm with Hugues Duchesne, Pierre Brice and Jeff Guilloux.

Forged through four years of collaboration in popular venues in the Hautes-Pyrénées, this piano-double bass-guitar trio is built with complete engagement. From Michel Petrucciani to Chick Corea via Bud Powell or Thelonious Monk, the jazz standards that make up the repertoire are tastefully selected, to serve the energy of all three with care.

Sunday October 29: Indian Dance “Bharata Natyam” with Anusha ChererBharatanatyam artist, and artistic director. Bharatanatyam is one of the oldest forms of Indian dance, originally practiced in temples in South India. With very complex techniques, precise body movements, dancers symbolically interpret stories from Indian mythology.

introductory course, from 10 am to 12 noon to discover the codes, symbolism, technical foundations of Bharata natyam, which will allow each person to feel the dance in his body, through body movements, its rhythms and the relationships that subtly connect music, dance and theater. At the end of the course, students will “taste” the ancestral discipline of Bharata natyam. He will also have a better understanding of Indian dance and will be able to appreciate it more as an audience member. Introductory session with reservation.
