Israel-Palestine War: India has always believed in an independent state of Palestine, says MEA

Amid the Israel-Palestine war, the State Department on October 12 advocated the resumption of direct negotiations for a peaceful solution between the two states.

In a statement, the MEA said: “Our policy in this regard is long-standing and consistent. India has always advocated the resumption of direct negotiations for the creation of a sovereign, independent and viable State of Palestine living within secure and recognized borders “side by side in peace with Israel.”
