Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a tour around Europe. During her visit to Denmark, Queen Margrethe II invited her to an audience, then she opened the doors of the Christian VII Palace to her to offer her a gala dinner, in the presence of the royal family.

Official dinner in Copenhagen for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi .’s visit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 71, held a series of political meetings with European decision-makers. From 3 to 4 May 2022, the head of government of India is in Copenhagen. At the end of the day, Queen Margrethe II, 82, invited Narendra Modi to Christian IX Palace, one of the mansions that make up Amalienborg Palace, in Copenhagen. The Christian Palace IX is the one occupied by the queen.
It was in the yellow salon of the Kristen IX palace that Queen Margrethe II received Prime Minister Modi. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were invited to take part in this gathering. After a private audience, the Royal Family and the Prime Minister joined the Hall of Knights to make the official photo. The reception was then held at the palace of Kristen VII.
The Indian delegation and the Danish authorities, who were invited to the reception at Christian VII Palace, greeted the Prime Minister and the Queen one by one, before taking their places at the table. Among the guests were Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Indian Ambassador to Denmark Pooja Kapur, Danish Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod, Indian Foreign Minister Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Danish Minister of Environment Lea Wermelin, or Thomas Rørdam, President of the Supreme Court of Denmark.
