Jakarta: Xiaomi attracted worldwide attention with the global launch of the Xiaomi 13 series some time ago, but it doesn't seem like this luxury cellphone will come to Indonesia in the near future.
However, there is still more good news from Xiaomi, especially for consumers who are waiting for their mid-range Redmi Note Series cellphone series. This hypothesis emerged from the upload on social networks of the boss of Xiaomi Indonesia, Wentao Zhao.
Xiaomi Indonesia Country Manager Wentao Zhao on his Instagram account @wsentao_zh uploaded a photo of the so-called Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD) of Jakarta.
This area is known as the location of Xiaomi's headquarters in Indonesia. The interesting thing is the text and emoji layout, which explicitly means that the Redmi Note 12 series will be available soon.
First there is a red circle emoji, this color reads as “red” in English. then continued with the text 'mi. The next emoji is a note which in English reads as “note” followed by the number 1 and 2 emojis.
The number emoji can be interpreted as a combination of the number “12”. Finally, there is the text and the “coming soon” emoji, which translates to “coming soon” in Indonesian.
Wentao himself did not provide a caption or photo description for his upload. So we can assume that he gave a code indicating that the Redmi Note 12 will be released in Indonesia soon. Although the time difference since the global introduction has been quite long.
The Redmi Note 12 was first announced in China in October last year. Earlier this year, Redmi Note 12 was released in India. So fans of the Redmi Note series in Indonesia may be impatient or continue to have a crush on the more aggressive Poco variant present in Indonesia.
