Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – India bans 54 Chinese apps over security concerns. According to local newspapers, the decision was taken due to prolonged tensions between the two countries, which had an impact on commercial transactions.

India's Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has banned 54 apps, including those belonging to major Chinese technology companies such as Tencent, Alibaba and NetEase, which are new versions of apps banned in 2020. C 'is the report published by Aljazeera, Monday (14/6/2022)

This latest move comes as a long-standing dispute between the two countries remains unresolved. Previously, bloody fighting broke out in 2020, resulting in the deaths of soldiers on both sides. India and China share a 3,488 km unmarked border along the Himalayas, where thousands of troops, tanks and artillery from both countries have since converged.
