WhatsApp down – Medcom.id

Jakarta: WhatsApp is a topic that many Twitter users are talking about as a number of users find that the instant messaging service they are using cannot send or receive messages.

Twitter users flocked to complain about the issue on the social media platform with the blue bird logo using the WhatsApp Down hashtag. Meanwhile, WhatsApp users in Indonesia submitted their complaints with the keyword This WA.

Not only in Indonesia, the collapse of this instant messaging service is also felt by users in other countries, including India. Meanwhile, the DownDetector site started receiving reports of WhatsApp collapsing at 1:43 a.m. this afternoon.

As of this writing, the DownDetector site has received 3,957 complaints. The user’s inability to send and receive messages is not only found in the mobile version of the WhatsApp application, but also in the desktop and web versions of WhatsApp.

As a result of this WhatsApp outage, messages sent by users will only show a clock icon in the lower right corner of the message bubble, next to the clock when the user presses the button shipping with a paper plane icon.

So far, WhatsApp has not provided any information regarding this issue, as stated by Medcom.id through its official Twitter account. Previously, WhatsApp’s premium subscription service was not officially launched and was only available to beta users.

This means that only members of WhatsApp’s beta program can access the Premium menu, where additional features are available. According to WABetainfo, premium services will be tailored to business needs, which means that most subscription features will not be useful specifically for general users.

Meanwhile, starting Monday, October 24, 2022, a number of Android and iPhone models can no longer use the Whatsapp (WA) application. This is because the chat app vendor has removed support for the old-school operating system.

WhatsApp has indeed raised the minimum requirements for the specifications of smartphones that can run their applications. Android OS requires Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) while iPhone is running iOS 12.
