Five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) teased their star batsman Suryakumar Yadav after posting a fun video on his Instagram account on Saturday (December 23). In the video, Suryakumar Yadav walks with the help of a stick while a famous audio clip from the Bollywood film 'Welcome' plays in the background. Injuries are temporary. Being filmic is permanent,» – wrote the Mumbai Indians on their website Instagram handle.
Previously, Surya uploaded the same video from his Insta account and wrote: “Seriously, injuries are never fun, but I'm taking it easy and I promise I'll be back to full fitness in no time! Until then, I hope you all enjoy the holiday season and find a little joy in each day.

Suryakumar Yadav suffered an injury while playing in the third T20I series against South Africa. Notably, the left-handed batsman was named Indian captain for this series in an interim role. However, he continued to impress with his batting, especially with his crucial century against the Proteas in the last T20I.
In the second half of the match, Suryakumar Yadav injured his ankle early in the half and was quickly taken off the field to consult a physiotherapist. However, the captain did not return to the field. The left-handed batsman is expected to return in February next year.
