Stavya Bhasin is India's most prolific player with four medals.

Indian pickleball athletes demonstrated their prowess at the recently concluded USA Pickleball Championships with a combined haul of 3 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals in various categories. This $150,000+ event is taking place in Naples, Florida from April 14, 2024 to April 20, 2024 and more than 11 Indian athletes are sponsored by Global Sports to be part of this US Open Pickleball Championship.

The three gold medals were won by Stavya Bhasin, Dhiren Patel and Hemal Jain in junior singles, men's singles 5.0 and men's singles 3.5 respectively. Stavya Bhasin, the most prolific player of the tournament, won a total of four medals, including a silver in men's doubles 5.0 and two bronzes in junior men's doubles and junior mixed doubles.

Ronav Motiani, a Next Gen player sponsored by Global Sports, also won a total of three medals, a pair of silvers in the men's doubles 5.0 and junior singles and a bronze in the junior men's doubles category. Himanshu Dewaskar won the final bronze medal in the men's singles 5.0 category, taking India's final medal tally to 10.

Another notable performance from the Indian contingent was that of Harsh Mehta and Arman Bhatia who finished fifth in the men's professional doubles.

The US Open Pickleball Championship has a total of more than 3,000 players in 29 countries, ranging in age from 8 to 88 years old. It is considered the most prestigious Pickleball tournament in the world.
