Since the announcement of its arrival in France and the launch of the Dreamworks channel, it was only a matter of time before getting news of the effective launch of Universal+. It does so with the below press release from NBCUniversal. The surprise was the immediate launch of the service and not temporary exclusivity with SFR as NBCUniversal has had years of privileged relationships with telecom operators. NBCUniversal International Networks & Direct-To-Consumer and SFR continue their partnership with the launch of Universal+ on SFR today. This new hybrid entertainment offering, linear and non-linear, offers access to 13ME RUE, SYFY, E! and DreamWorks and provide access to a large selection of on-demand content – in one convenient place.

Universal+, currently available in partnership with carriers in Spain, Latin America (primarily Brazil), India and Africa, is available to SFR customers in France starting today. From science fiction thrillers to reality TV series, Universal+ offers the possibility to enjoy a variety of content from 13ME RUE, SYFY, E! and the new DreamWorks channel, dedicated to kids and the whole family.

SFR subscribers were the first to discover Universal+ in France, by opening their replays of their SFR and RED boxes or in their app.

Universal+ offers a wide selection of content including:
New series and exclusive seasons: Station Eleven, The Real Housewives of Dubai, Resident Alien season 2 (with part 2 broadcast from 15 November), Chicago Fire season 10, The Village of the Damned (Midwich Cukoos) coming in 2023. . . .

SFR subscribers can enjoy thousands of hours of on-demand content from 13ME RUE, SYFY, E! and DreamWorks
