Twitter should abide by local laws in India: Elon Musk

While Musk is an advocate of free speech, he believes that moderation on Twitter should “beat close to the laws of the countries in which Twitter operates,” read a portion of the legal filing in Twitter’s lawsuit against Musk , as published by New York Times tech reporter Kate Conger in a series of tweets.

Responding to Elon Musk’s claims in the court filings, Twitter said it “respectfully refers the court to their full and accurate content on that basis.”
