COMPAS.com – Indonesia Women’s U19 Cricket Team was sent to attend a training camp or training camp (TC) in Banglore City, India until December 29, 2022.

“In addition, the Indonesian national team will receive support trainers and physio from India while undergoing TC,” Abhiram said.

Abhiram thinks the players will gain a lot from their training camp in India.

Along with having a professional standard training schedule and strong opponents, players can shape their character and mentality ahead of heading to the 2023 World Cup.

Meanwhile, Afie Fiermansyah, as manager of the Indonesian women’s national cricket team, reminded the players to take training camp seriously.

Afie Fiermansyah thinks the training camp in India will provide a different experience.

“A trip abroad will present a different situation and they have to adapt,” Afie Fiermansyah said.

While implementing TC in India, PP PCI is cooperating with Bangalore Sports School which provides the best cricket facilities and sports infrastructure support.

In addition, the Bangalore Sports School will provide accommodation, nutrition and training facilities for Indonesian women’s national team players.

Director of Bangalore Sports Schools Dr. UV Sankar also expressed his support for the Indonesian women’s national cricket team.

“We are ready to support the Indonesian U-19 women’s cricket team in the preparation for the World Cup,” Sankar said.

“The Genesis of The Sports School, which is TC’s location, is a one-stop-shop for all potential athletes,” he added.

“We believe the camp, located on a world-class campus, will provide an amazing learning experience,” Sankar explained.

After India, the Indonesian Women’s U-19 National Team will continue TC at Pretoria High Performance Center, South Africa for one week in January 2023.

Indeed, PP PCI has scheduled a pre-tournament match with the Rwanda U19 women’s national team at the University of Pretoria.

Before undergoing TC, the Indonesian women’s national team played a series of matches in Bali.

In the game against the Singaporean team that traveled to Indonesia for the bilateral series, the Indonesian women’s national under-19 team stole three wins from a total of three matches.
