There Pininfarina Battista has officially become the fastest production car in the world! Italian hypercar, based on Rimac Neveraset a new speed record on a test track in India.
Battista is faster than Rimac Nevera!
Although Battista is technically identical to Nevera from Croatian manufacturer (both share the same engine), the Italian seems to have stepped up the hypercar’s performance even further by a fleeting margin. As a reminder, both cars share the same powertrain (4 engines) developing trivia 1873 hp !
The renowned Coachbuilder, who has since become a car manufacturer, has teamed up with the India branch of British magazine Autocar to set two records on the NATRAX circuit in India. Is Hormazd Sorabjee, editor of the magazine, who broke the previous record.
A quarter mile sent in 8.55 seconds!
La Battista accomplished the feat of completing the quarter mile (400 meters) on the circuit in just a short time 8.55 seconds. Half a mile finishes on 13.38 seconds. Finally, the racing car reaches a maximum speed of 358 km/h on the track!
To certify this data, all these records were checked using the VBOX data recording system, claims Pininfarina. The company added that the maximum speed test was carried out using tires Michelin Pilot Sports Cup 2while tires 2R Cup installed for acceleration testing.

Built in Italy, the Battista is limited to 150 units worldwide and assembly takes between 10 and 18 weeks depending on specifications.
