Jakarta (ANTARA) – A technology company based in Chicago, United States (US), is mourning the death of its boss after a tragic incident, as reported by Eonline on Tuesday.

During a celebration of Vistex's 25th anniversary, Shah and the company's chairman, Vishwanath Raju Datla, were suspended from an iron cage more than six meters high.
“Shah and Raju were lowered from the cage to the podium, an event planned to kick off the celebrations,” a company official told the Times of India on January 20.
However, when the two men were lowered, one of the two cables attached to the cage broke, causing them to fall 15 feet and land on the concrete stage, in front of around 700 guests attending the party.
“At the time of the accident, music was playing and Shah and Raju were greeting their staff as they were being dropped off,” local authorities said.
Shah died of his injuries in hospital following the accident, while Raju, 52, who suffered serious head injuries, remains in critical condition.
Vistex flags at the Hoffman Estates company offices are flying at half-mast and authorities are investigating the accident.
According to their website, Vistex is a software company with 20 offices worldwide and over two thousand employees. Some of their clients include Sony, Yamaha, Coca Cola, NVIDIA, Siemens, Kellogg's, Bosch and Bayer. Shah founded this company in 1999.
