TPSSL’s solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Bengaluru will supply 152 MWp DCR Solar PV modules for this project. TPSSL’s solar EPC portfolio includes more than 12.5 GWp of ground-mounted systems, over 2 GW of rooftop and distributed ground-mounted systems, and over 1000,000 solar water pumps.
As of September 30, 2023, Tata Power’s clean energy portfolio reached the milestone of 5,500 MW, representing 38% of the total installed generation capacity. The company also made significant progress in the distribution business by improving its cash flow and reducing AT&C losses in Odisha. Additionally, the company is well positioned to capitalize on the pumped storage projects and has signed a deal with the Government of Maharashtra to develop 2,800 MW projects with a total planned investment of around ₹13,000 crore.
Earlier this month, at an analyst meet at its Bhivpuri Hydro plant in Maharashtra, the company announced an ambitious target of doubling its revenue and profit by FY27 with a capex of ₹60,000 crore over the next four years. Of this, 45% will be spent on renewable energy in FY24-27.
