Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Suzuki Maruti India has announced the release of a new Spresso 2022 car. This 5-seater car is priced at Rp. 79.5 million to Rp. 112.1 million.

reported from Rushlane, S-Presso 2022 Maruti The new S-Presso is offered in 4 variants – Std, LXI, VXI and VXI+, all four are manual transmissions. Meanwhile, to get the AMT option with the best 2 variants – VXI and VXI+.

The new S-Presso features the Next Gen K-Series 1.0L Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with Idle-Start-Stop technology. This engine develops 66 hp and 89 Nm of torque. This power offers an increase in fuel efficiency of 25.30 km/l in the Vxi variant, 24.76 km/l in the Vxi/Vxi+ MT and 24.12 km/l in the Std/LXI MT.

17% higher fuel efficiency in AGS and nearly 14% higher fuel efficiency in MT.

Inside there are dual airbag features, ABS with EBD, pretensioner and force limiter. Front seat belts, high speed warning system, reverse parking sensors are standard in all variants and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Hill Hold Assist in the AGS variant.

“In the space of around three years, we have sold over 202,500 S-Presso units, a strong testament that it is setting the right record with customers. With many advanced features, combined with a spacious interior and a dashing SUV stance, the S-Presso mini SUV has positive offerings among customers,” said Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Director, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India.

S-Presso sales fell to their lowest point in June 2022. From an average of more than 5,000 units each month, S-Presso sales fell to around 600 units last month. Some thought it was because Maruti was preparing to discontinue the S-Presso.

It turns out that the reason for the drop in sales last month was that Maruti Suzuki India was about to launch an updated S-Presso.

Suzuki S-Presso is offered in six variants and prices.

2. Lxi MT: INR 495,000 (Rs 92.6 million)

3. Vxi MT: INR 515,000 (Rs 96.3 million)

5. Vxi (O) AGS: INR 565,000 (Rs 105.7 million)

6. Vxi+ (O)AGS): INR 599,000 (Rp 112.1 million).
