JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – In addition to bringing the eVX concept electric car to Auto Expo 2023 in Delhi, India, Suzuki also introduced the sport utility vehicle (SUV) the latest, namely the all-new Fronx.

Suzuki Fronx has dimensions of 3,995mm in length, 1,765mm in width and 1,550mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,520mm. In other words, this car has slightly larger dimensions than the Suzuki Baleno.

Looking at the exterior, the front fascia resembles the Grand Vitara, where the headlight design is separated by chrome accents attached to the black grille.

The front view is so aggressive thanks to the firm line of the bumper, equipped with a fog lamp located in a triangular area. This is what distinguishes it from the appearance of the Grand Vitara.

Then on the side it still involves the Suzuki Baleno design. This can be seen in the shape of the glass and the pillars. It’s just that the profile is made sportier, thanks to more prominent hips and 17-inch rims.

Meanwhile at the stern it is fitted with a taillight linkage model with a fairly large LED. Then the rather large aluminum protection plate also serves as a diffuser.

Continuing inside, the two-tone dashboard display looks a lot like the Baleno. But it’s a bit more luxurious thanks to the metallic and silver matte finish.

In the center there is a 9-inch touchscreen which has been integrated with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include a head-up display, 360-degree camera, wireless charger, audio system from Arkamys, rear-seat AC ventilation, six airbags and a host of other features.

Speaking of pacemakers, Suzuki Fronx is available with two petrol options. First, there’s the 1,000cc K-series turbocharged Boosterjet engine that’s fitted with mild-hybrid technology.

This machine is capable of producing 99 hp of power and 148 Nm of torque. Mated to a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic.

Then the second option, there is a 1200cc K-Series Dual Jet engine, capable of producing 89hp and 113Nm of torque. That power is routed to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transmission or AGS with the same amount of throttle.

Suzuki Fronx will go on sale in April 2023. The company also guarantees that Fronx will be exported to markets outside India, including Africa and Latin America.
