Without a doubt, Annapurna Interactive has signed on, thanks to the Blue Twelve Studios team, one of summer’s independent games. The recipe is simple: a crunchy adventure as a brave cat roaming the world with a cyberpunk aesthetic. However, modding fans are quick to replace the game’s agile heroes with other animals… or something even crazier! Today, it’s one of the shining PlayStation mascots on Stray!

Besides exploring a cyberpunk-themed world as an adorable cat, there’s plenty to do in this cutest summer indie game. However, some players, who may not really appreciate cats, have competed in the imagination to replace the heroic Murtaugh with a completely different character. Thanks to the mod, madness has taken over Stray and we can see a dog or even… a GTA character take the place of a kitten!
However, the revival of mods is not only attacked with cosmetic additions because we have seen that some players have changed two or three things to allow those who found it wander, stray on computer from, for example, replace Murtaugh with their own pet or maybe to play together for an epic and adorable moment in front of another cat!

However, the surprises are not over yet because the community around the game knows how to add originality for what many people think game of the yearstealing place from Elden’s Ring from FromSoftware. Famous for his original creations, modder MrMarco1003 does it again, this time attacking Stray and replacing Murtaugh with… the equally adorable Spyro the Dragon, one of PlayStation’s first mascots with Crash Bandicoot. Note that his creation has been posted on the site NexusMods and this isn’t the first time he’s introduced Insomniac Games’ iconic dragon into a game, as his YouTube channel suggests. But it must be admitted that, this time around, his and his companions’ presence in the Stray universe doesn’t seem too surprising!
