Nisha won India's second quota at the World Wrestling Olympic Qualifiers in Istanbul last May, in the women's 68kg category, becoming the fifth quota for the 2024 Paris Olympics by an Indian female wrestler. Ritika Hooda (76 kg) was added to the quota during the Asian qualifiers held in Bishkek last month.
