Singapore investors interested in investing in Teluk Latak Village Batik

“Later, we will make batik products from Bengkalis under the slogan Made by Bengkalis (made in Bengkalis),” said Datok Roy, immediately greeted with applause.

Later, Teluk Latak Village batik product, Datok Roy said, in addition to being sold in Bengkalis and other parts of Indonesia, will of course be marketed in Singapore. He assured that batik products from the village of Teluk Latak would be in demand, especially in the face of celebrations such as Eid al-Fitr.

Build an Areca processing plant

In addition to being interested in investing in batik products from Teluk Latak village, it transpired that at yesterday’s meeting there was interest in investing in the plantation sector, especially products made from areca nuts.

He explained that during a visit to the island of Bengkalis, an investor from Malaysia, Paduka Ayah Sumlee Tok Ayah Kori, expressed the wish to build an areca nut processing factory, which would then be exported to the ‘India.

Singapore investors when visiting the water dam complex, swimming pool and golf course also expressed their interest in investing in renovating the complex so that it can be used in conjunction with the Bengkalis Regency government.

“Businessmen from these 3 countries said that in the future they will write to the Regent of Bengkalis. Then they will come back and visit Bengkalis to discuss in more detail the forms of cooperation that can be carried out during these 2 month,” concluded Alwizar. .
