In October, Vietnam welcomed 20,681 Indian visitors, an increase of 38% YoY and 25.8% over the same period in 2019.

Moreover, the number of searches in Vietnam by Internet users from India has increased quite rapidly. The most popular Vietnam destinations are Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc, D Nang, Quy Nhon.

This result can be explained by the doubling of Vietnam’s tourism promotion activities in India and the opening of many new direct airlines connecting the two countries.

According to statistics from Google Destination Insignts, the number of international searches for accommodation companies in Vietnam in October increased by 20% during the month and 11 times more than last March.
