Sukoharjonews.com – Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 have started receiving One UI 5 update based on Android 13 OS. Now, the company has also started rolling out a major software update for the older Galaxy Z Fold 3.

As quoted by Gizmochina, on Monday (11/21/2022), the South Korean tech giant has started rolling out the Android 13 operating system update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 foldable phone, with firmware version F926BXXU2DVK3. Currently, this update is rolling out in India, while other regions will soon start getting this upgrade.

However, the One UI 5 update is currently only available in limited numbers for those testing the beta. This beta tester is now getting a 307.56MB update, while other Galaxy Z Fold 3 users will get an update of around 2GB.

Apart from major new OS updates, the latest firmware also comes with the November 2022 security patch for foldable smartphones. So if you’re one of the few beta testers of One UI 5.0 and you own a Galaxy Z Fold 3, you can download the stable update by going to Settings > Software update and selecting Download and install.

On the other hand, other Galaxy Z Fold 3 users can expect to receive a regular update next week.

The company is also working to bring the update to various other smartphones by the end of this year. This includes mid-range handsets like Galaxy A33, Galaxy A52, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A73 and many more. On the other hand, the update will also be rolled out to high-end models like Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, and even tablet models like Galaxy Tab S8. (nano)
