Badminton News: Indian badminton player, Sameer Verma emerged victorious in the men’s singles sector at the 2023 Slovenia Open tournament held in Maribor, Slovenia.

Sameer Verma secured a two-game winning streak with a decisive 21-18, 21-14 victory over his Taiwanese opponent in the final.

In another outstanding feat, the pair of Rohan Kapoor and Sikki Reddy represented India in the mixed doubles and won a well-deserved silver medal.

Kapoor and Reddy showed great skill and determination throughout the tournament. They defeated Mads Vestergaard and Christine Busch of Denmark in the semi-finals to claim a 21-15, 21-19 win.
