Esports News: Lukas “Yb” Groning has officially joined the VALORANT division of Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) as a new analyst. The RRQ team announced the news via their Instagram account on Sunday (11/12).

The organization really needs an analyst following the departure of Jose “Rbtx” Carlo Jamir (former RRQ PH). Based on clarification from RRQ VALORANT Coach Ewok, Rbtx decided to switch to Oasis Gaming, a team from the Philippines.

Citing ONE Esports, Yb is a veteran of the competitive FPS scene who was more familiar with CS:GO for eight years. It is noted that he has played for various Tier 2 CS:GO teams, namely BLUEJAYS and the most popular, OpTic India.

It is known that OpTic India is a subsidiary team of OpTic Gaminv which had become synonymous because of the case of a CS:GO player, neglected, who cheated.

After spending several years with OpTic India, Yb then joined Enigma Gaming as a player and played for several years.

The German-born man transitioned to VALORANT by becoming a coach for Enigma Gaming. His team is participating in the VALORANT Invitational India tournament in Hyderabad which will take place in November 2022.

Through his personal Twitter account in the RRQ team post after it was announced on Sunday (11/12), Yb also expressed his gratitude.

“Thank you (for this golden opportunity), I’m really excited,” he wrote, as quoted by ONE Esports.

Yb’s presence as a new assistant also makes Ewok happy and really hopes his new partner will make a positive contribution.

“Welcome, I hope that in the future we will work hard to bring success to this formation (Team RRQ).” Ewok wrote, as quoted by ONE Esports.
