Novel said the corneal implant surgery was to improve vision in his right eye. He said the operation did not damage his biological brother’s sight either.

He also explained why his right eye surgery was performed in India. According to him, India has experienced doctors to perform eye cornea implantation operations.

“I did the operation in India. In India, it turns out that there are several doctors who have good qualifications, and he has experience hit the most in the world,” he said.

Novel said he left for India on the recommendation of a doctor in Singapore. Novel underwent surgery and treatment in Singapore after his eyes were sprayed with acid.

“Then I got information that there are good practices in India. Then this was communicated to several doctors in Singapore. Then the Singaporean doctor recommended the doctor who the Singaporean doctor said was the best doctor,” he said.

He said the recovery process took about 12 weeks. However, Novel said it was possible her eyesight would start to improve about four weeks after the operation.

“It was only explained by the doctor from four weeks, from a month, the more gradually the better,” he said.

“The doctor said the whole process took 12 weeks. But maybe after 6 weeks there will be many changes,” Novel continued.
