RI encourages the formation of a new task force in India’s G20 Presidency

BORNEONEWS, Jakarta – Deputy Coordinating International Economic Cooperation in the Coordinating Ministry of Economy, Edi Prio Pambudi, as co-sherpa of G20 Indonesia, said Indonesia is pushing for the formation of a new working group within the Indian Presidency of the G20.

In a statement from the Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs in Jakarta on Sunday, Edi Prio said Indonesia would support the success of India’s G20 presidency, especially on the issue of digital transformation which is key to accelerating recovery. and the future of the global economy.

He appreciated the continuity between the Indonesian presidency of the G20 and the Indian presidency of the G20, and underlined that the weight of concrete deliverables as a model for G20 members around the world.

The first Sherpa Meeting of India’s G20 Presidency was held from 4-7 December 2022 in the city of Udaipur in the state of Rajasthan, India.

This meeting consists of five sessions namely Technology Transformation, Green Development and LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment), women-led development, accelerating the implementation of the SDGs, facilitating inclusive growth and multilateral reforms.
