This was conveyed by Prof. Rhenald Kasali PhD during the motivation of 7,500 students of Introduction to New Student Studies (Pesmaba) at Muhammadiyah Malang University (UMM), Thursday (15/9/2022).

Because with an increasing number of people, the temperature of the earth will rise and melt the snow, drowning many islands. So to accommodate the growing number of people, countries are carrying out two major projects, namely escape to the metaverse and escape to Mars,” he said.
According to Rhenald, facing the world metaverse and artificial increasingly advanced and capable human resources are needed. Especially those who master the fields of the future.
Therefore, he highly appreciated the Center for the Future of Work (CFW) program which was initiated and executed by WMU. “Many people think that their thoughts are limited to running (currently) only, but only a few see the future. And the UMM is the one that gives birth to a generation with the skills of the future,” added the professor of management.
