Indian telecom companies have announced that they will provide services in high traffic areas like educational institutions, religious places, railway stations, bus stops, shopping malls, etc. In addition, the company noted that JioTrue5G will be expanded to more cities; Chennai is the latest city added to Jio’s welcome offer. Reliance has previously launched its Jio True 5G service and Jio welcome packages in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Varanasi.
Jio said existing users can get True 5G service free of charge during the Jio welcome offer period. Non-Jio users can try this service before choosing Jio True 5G service. Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, said, “Today we are supporting the first true 5G-enabled Wi-Fi service in the Holy City of Nathdwara and Lord Srinath Ji Temple. Thanks to this, we will power more such locations. and let them test our service. Additionally, we welcome Chennai as our newest city to be added to the Jio True 5G Welcome Offer.
