Redmi India may be planning to release its next K-series phone in India, according to a recent tweet. Recent reports reveal that the company’s next smartphone will be called the K50i 5G. It is unknown if the K50i Pro 5G will launch alongside it.
After Redmi The K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones, devices like Redmi K30 and Redmi K40 never came to India. Now it looks like the company is ready to bring the K series smartphone back to India and the K50i 5G will be a mid-range smartphone.
Redmi The K50i 5G is expected to launch this month in India, which could essentially be a new version of the Note 11T Pro 5G. Poco also recently launched the same device as the POCO X4 GT in the world with exact specifications.

Redmi K50i 5G Specifications
The K50i 5G will have a 6.67-inch FHD+ resolution IPS LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate. MediaTek Dimensions 8100 SoC with Arm Cortec-A78 as GPU.
It will offer 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage. The device is expected to use LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 based storage for fast application load times and better read and write speeds.
Redmi The K50i 5G is said to have a triple camera setup on the back with a 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. This smartphone is expected to have a high-resolution selfie camera with support for FHD video recording capabilities. The main camera of the Redmi K50i 5G is expected to support the ability to record videos up to 4K.
The device is expected to run a version of MIUI13 based on Android 12. Other specs include an IP53 rating, X-Axis motor, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.3, and VC liquid cooling. The device will measure 163.6 × 74.3 × 8.8 mm and weigh 200 grams.
As of now, there is no information about the exact launch date of the K50i 5G. Considering the leaks, the K50i 5G could launch in India in the coming weeks.
