Ranking of the SEA Games 2021: Indonesia overtakes Malaysia

The Indonesian contingent overtook Malaysia to take second place in the standings SEA Games 2021 (SEA Games 2022) after winning 12 gold medals.

On Saturday (14/5) at 13:00 WIB, Indonesia collected a total of 28 medals. The breakdown is 12 gold, 13 silver and 3 bronze.

The five additional gold medals were contributed by several sports (sports) such as rowing and wushu.

The four gold medals were won in Men’s Rowing Sculls (Ferdiansyah/Denri Maulidzar Alghiffari), Men’s Rowing Sculls Lightweight (Jefri Ardianto Suwarno/Rio Riski Darmawan) and Men’s Rowing Quadruple Sculls (Memo/ Edwini Ginanjar/Rifqi Harits). Meanwhile, a golden gift of wushu came through Alisya Mellynar from Taijiquan number.

Apart from the five gold medals, Indonesia also added four silver medals from Women’s Individual Triathlon (Inge Prasetyo), Women’s Lightweight Sculls Rowing (Melani Putri/Mutiara Rahma), Men’s Taijijian Wushu (Nicholas) and male Nanquan wushi (Haris .Horace).

Indonesia also won a bronze medal thanks to Ronald Bintang Setiawan in the men’s singles triathlon.

Indonesia overtook Malaysia, which currently has 11 gold, 5 silver and 14 bronze. While the first place remains occupied by host Vietnam with 72 medals: 29 gold, 17 silver, 26 bronze.
