MotoGP News: GasGas Factory Racing rider Pol Espargaro admitted that he suffered a lot during the last Indian GP. He was blind to the features of the new Buddh circuit and had to face scorching weather conditions.
In yesterday’s Indian GP race, all the drivers faced new challenges at the Buddh circuit. They need to feel the characteristics of the track because they have never competed there before. This challenge becomes even more difficult as India experiences high temperatures which promote dehydration. Pol Espargaro, as one of the senior riders, even felt overwhelmed. He had to settle for finishing 13th after facing many difficult problems.
“I think it was one of the hardest races I’ve ever had. Last weekend was very tough and I wasn’t happy with the result because I felt like I wasn’t capable of being fast,” Espargaro said when interviewed by local media.
“In the end, I was able to finish the race, which was the goal from the start because I was not in good condition,” he said.
Now with poor results that can no longer be changed, Espargaro intends to turn around at the next Japanese MotoGP event. Unlike the unpredictable Buddh Circuit, the Motegi Circuit is one of Espargaro’s favorite circuits. He is excited to appear in Sakura Country and hopes to earn a lot of points there.
