Pokémon: this new series slated for 2023 marks a major turning point

While Pokémon Scarlet and Violet were among the best-selling video games for Christmas, this new adventure-inspired animated series launches this Friday, December 16. Announced for 2023.

Immediately after Sacha was named the best trainer after 25 years of adventuring in the season of The Ultimate Voyages, the Pokémon series continues its journey. This Friday, December 16, the Pokémon Company unveiled the first images of the new animated series expected for 2023. This upcoming season introduces a new team of apprentice trainers.

First of all, we must remember that this series will pick up where our hero Sacha Ketchum and his loyal companion Pikachu left off. After more than 1,221 episodes and 25 years of broadcast, Sacha hands over and to the new coaching tandem we’ll be drawn to: Liko and Roy (in the Japanese version). The two will venture into the land of Paldea, where the little monsters Poussacha, Chochodile, and Coiffeton – star Pokémon Scarlet and Violet – will serve as guides.

A special episode dedicated to Sacha

At the same time, The Pokémon Company has announced that it’s not completely done with its loyal Sacha. Because a special episode will air after the Ultimate Travels season that crowns him as the best trainer.

These episodes will highlight the 25 years of adventure that led the boy in the red and white hat to finally dominate his rivals. Crucially, we should also learn more about his future now that his dream title of many years is in his pocket.
