The Poco F6 5G will launch in India later this month. The company announced the launch date of the handset and revealed its design. Poco also confirmed the availability details of the upcoming phone. The main specifications of this phone have already been rumored. It is believed to be a new version of the Redmi Turbo 3, which was introduced in China in April this year. The Poco F6 5G is expected to share design and specifications with the Redmi model.
Poco India has confirmed that the Poco F6 5G will be launched in India on May 23 at 4:30 PM IST. Company social media handles together a teaser teasing the upcoming smartphone with the tagline “God Mode On”. The rear panel of the handset is also visible in the teaser showing the layout of the camera unit.
The Poco F6 5G is shown with dual cameras housed in separate circular modules and slightly raised next to a ring-shaped flash. The engraving on the panel confirms that the phone will feature a 50-megapixel camera with support for optical image stabilization (OIS). A Flipkart microsite for the phone was also launched, confirming the availability of the phone on e-commerce sites.
The design of the rear camera system of the Poco F6 5G is similar to that of the Redmi Turbo 3. Even the color seen in the teaser is reminiscent of the Ice Titanium option of the Redmi model. Redmi Turbo 3 was launched in China at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 23,000) for the base 12GB + 256GB option. Also available in 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1 variants To.
Poco F6 5G could launch in India with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, 6.7-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, 20-megapixel selfie camera and 5,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. It was recently spotted on Geekbench with 12GB of RAM and Android 14 based OS.
