Phone maker Nokia HMD to launch its new smartphone in India: all the details

HMD Global, the company that holds the license to manufacture Nokia-branded phones, recently launched its own-brand smartphones. Now it seems that the Finnish smartphone maker is all set to launch the first HMD-branded smartphone in India soon.
HMD recently launched the HMD pulse, Pulse+ and Pulse Pro worldwide. The company is now ready to launch the smartphones in India.The company took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the upcoming launch. “The launch of our first smartphone in India will be a historic moment for us. At present, it is unclear whether the company will launch which HMD-branded smartphone in India.

HMD pulse
The HMD Pulse features a 6.65-inch LCD display with 720p+ resolution, delivering visuals in a 20:9 aspect ratio with a silky-smooth 90Hz refresh rate.
Its performance is driven by the Unisoc T606 chipset, an octa-core processor built on a 12nm architecture, composed of two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores, associated with a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. It offers memory configurations of 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.
Photography capabilities include a 13 MP main camera with autofocus and dual-LED flash, accompanied by a depth sensor for enhanced imaging. For selfie enthusiasts, there is an 8 MP front camera nestled in a punch-hole cutout.
HMD Impulse Plus
Although it shares the same display, chipset and memory configurations as the standard model, the Pulse Plus stands out with its 50 MP main rear camera, offering improved image quality and finer details.
Despite the rear camera upgrade, the Pulse Plus uses the same 8 MP front camera as its counterpart. Similar to the Pulse, this variant comes with a 5,000mAh battery, but it adds a 20W fast charging feature.
HMD Pulse Pro
While retaining the fundamental specifications of its counterparts, such as the 6.65-inch 90 Hz display, Unisoc T606 chipset and 5,000 mAh battery, the Pulse Pro stands out with a 50 MP front camera.
On the back, it has the same 50 MP main camera and 2 MP depth sensor as the Pulse Plus. Additionally, the Pulse Pro offers additional benefits including 20W fast charging and an expanded memory configuration of up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
