Pemprovsu welcomes India’s cooperation offer

Kitakini.news – The Provincial Government of North Sumatra (Pemprovsu) welcomes the offer of cooperation in various programs of the Government of India. The provincial government will soon know more,

“The offer of this program is quite interesting. We will consider all the opportunities presented. Later, we will consider one of them to be the ecotourism (ecotourism) program,” said the regional secretary (Sekda) of North Sumatra during the consul’s visit. Office of General Shri Shubham Singh and Staff of the North Sumatra Work Room Secretary, Office of the Governor of North Sumatra Jalan Diponegoro Medan, Thursday (11/5/2023).

Arief said the various proposed schemes would be studied first, especially seeing all the potential that would bring benefits to both parties, both Indonesia, especially the North Sumatra province and also India.

Arief also expressed his gratitude to the Consulate General of India in Medan for giving such great attention to North Sumatra. It is hoped that the cooperation that will be established will strengthen the sense of brotherhood between Indonesia and India.

Meanwhile, Consul General Shri Shubham Singh’s office revealed that several collaborative programs could be carried out with the provincial government, including offering cooperation in the economic sector, ecotourism, mangrove planting, security, survey technology, commerce and others.

“We will later make all the offers in writing addressed to the Governor as well as the Secretariat. We hope that there will be a response regarding the offer and that cooperation can be established from the various programs we offer with the provincial government,” Shri Singh concluded.
