NEW DELHI: ONGC's consolidated net profit rose nearly 78% to Rs 11,527 crore in the fourth quarter of 2023-24 from Rs 6,478 crore in the corresponding period last year on the back of increased crude oil production and increased global prices. Medanta’s net profit rises on higher revenue

Global Health, operator of Medanta hospitals, reported a 26% year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs.127 crore for the fourth quarter of FY 2024. Revenue growth was driven by established and new hospitals with higher patient volumes. Occupancy rate stood at 59% with stable EBITDA margins at 24.7%. EBITDA increased 8% year-on-year to Rs.206 crore.
