Very young bachelor
“I just got my baccalaureate and, in January,” said Indira Ampiot in an interview with Tvmag Le Figaro. If she postpones her studies to fully participate in the competition, the young woman wants to start, next January, “a license in communications to specialize in visual identity and advertising to become artistic director”.
He was seen when he was 13 years old
“At 13, I was discovered by the Miss Basse-Terre committee who told me: ‘In five years, you come to take part in the election’. And that’s what I did! I registered at 17, I won a scarf and I went on with Miss Guadeloupe”, recounts, always in the same interview as our colleague, Miss Guadeloupe. She wants to “help women with cancer”
During her reign, the young woman wanted to “help women with cancer regain their self-confidence.” During the interview given in ewagshe said: “Especially on our islands [de la Guadeloupe] where we have case records, following a health scandal. I know the devastation this disease has caused and helping these people and their loved ones is very important to me.”
Her mother became the first runner-up after Miss Guadeloupe
In 1998, Indira’s mother stepped onto the Miss Guadeloupe podium. Indeed, she took second place in a beauty pageant. “She was selected as first runner-up and she participated in other elections such as Miss Caribbean but was never able to compete in Miss France”, explained the new Miss France to Paris.
Already very popular on Instagram
Indira Ampiota is one of the pageant favourites. The young woman was the fourth most followed miss in the competition on Instagram before the start of election night with nearly 35,000 subscribers. Ahead of her were: Miss Guyana, Miss Réunion and Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, her first runner-up.
On the eve of her election, this young woman had doubled her subscriber count: she now has over 100,000.
