Riyadh Boulevard World is a new attraction offered until January 22, 2023
A magnificent reconstruction of Paris was unveiled in the heart of the Saudi capital on Monday. A mini Eiffel Tower and a replica of Paul’s bakery have been installed. The French Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ludovic Pouille, was especially present at the inauguration of the new Riyadh Boulevard World district in Riyadh. “Very happy to attend the opening of the new district, which houses a stunning reconstruction of Paris in the heart of the Saudi capital!”, the ambassador tweeted, explaining that it was unique in the world.
Riyadh Boulevard World is a new attraction offered as part of the 2022 Riyadh Season, which will be enjoyed until January 22, 2023. According to the chairman of the General Authority for Entertainment, Turki al-Sheikh, this entertainment zone presents the culture and atmosphere of several countries around the world through restaurants, but also markets and art. France, United States, Greece, India, China, Spain, Japan, Morocco, Mexico and Italy are thus represented in miniature and allow visitors to Riyadh Season 2022 to discover their culture, customs and traditions. Flamenco shows, American or Greek specialties, or even Moroccan snakes will be featured on the program.
Boulevard World is also home to the world’s largest man-made lake. Visitors can visit it by boat or submarine – a first for Riyadh. A cable car also connects the area to Riyadh Boulevard, which is only 1.2 kilometers away.
