India will also invite the International Solar Alliance, the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure and the Asian Development Bank as invited international organizations.
As India’s priorities for the G20 are being refined, ongoing conversations revolve around inclusive, equitable and sustainable growth, green living, women’s empowerment, digital public infrastructure and technology-enabled development in areas such as health, agriculture, education, tourism, climate finance. , global food security, energy security, fighting economic crime and multilateral reform, the statement said.
As part of the G20 Presidency, India is expected to host more than 200 preparatory and other gatherings across the country, starting in December this year. India will take over after swapping the G20 presidency twice – first with Italy in 2021 and then with Indonesia in 2022.
