Real estate company M3M India and Oravel Stays, the parent company of OYO Hotels & Homes, have signed an initial agreement to open a premium hotel under the ‘SUNDAY’ brand in Gurugram.
In a statement, M3M India announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to open Hotel SUNDAY in India. This project will comprise 220 rooms and will cover 150,000 square feet of prime hotel space.
The hotel is located on Southern Peripheral Road (SPR) in Gurugram.
The initiative is part of a larger partnership to develop 15 lakh square feet of luxury guest spaces with 1,000 rooms across multiple locations in Gurugram and Noida, M3M said.
“This collaboration is a testament to our shared vision to create unparalleled business spaces that redefine luxury and comfort,” said Sudeep Bhatt, President, M3M India.
Aditya Sharma, Managing Director, Oravel Stays Pvt Ltd, said, “The partnership between SUNDAY Hotel and M3M India enables us to expand our presence in the luxury segment in major cities, starting with Gurugram, which has emerged as one of the premier destinations for social events, domestic tourists and international long-stay guests.”
M3M India has a portfolio of 56 projects across various sectors.
SUNDAY Hotels, a premium hotel brand, was originally launched in May 2023 through a joint venture between Softbank Group and Oravel Stays.
The first SUNDAY hotel opened in Jaipur, followed by Vadodara and Chandigarh in India and London and Dubai overseas.
