Exit polls are a highly anticipated event before the official counting of votes by the Election Commission of India (ECI) begins, as political experts and psephologists pore over the latest numbers to determine which party is ahead of the rest of the country. Exit polls are conducted right after the final voting in a parliamentary or assembly election.
The exit polls for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections will be telecast live on June 1, after the final phase of voting is completed. Voting for the final phase of the Lok Sabha elections will take place on Saturday till 6 pm and exit polls will be held live from 6.30 pm.

The India Today Group-Axis My India exit poll results in 2019 predicted that the NDA would win 339 to 365 seats and a range of 77 to 108 seats for the UPA. After the vote counting was completed, the NDA won 350 seats, the UPA 92 seats, and the others 100 seats.
