Very strong group
The task promises to be difficult, competition intensifies and the French side were beaten at the same time by Germany and Spain at the Euros, which puts them temporarily behind these two nations in the European hierarchy.
The Bleuettes’ run therefore promises to be tough with groups including Japan, Canada and Tanzania. In terms of a possible quarter-final, it will be against a formidable team, especially if it is Spain.
France started their tournament with a draw against Canada this Wednesday, 12 October 2022 (1-1), at the pandit Jawaharllal Nehru stadium in the state of Goa.
They then face Tanzania this Saturday, 15 October 2022, where the tricolor lost 2-1. Then, place in Japan on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 17:30.
The first two teams in the group will qualify for the quarter-finals scheduled for 21 and 22 October 2022. The semifinals will take place on 26 October 2022, with the final taking place in Mumbai on 30 October 2022.
Whatever the outcome of this world tournament, we hope that this competition will only serve as a stage in the careers of Lola Boisset and Juliette Mossard.
The match of the France U17 women’s team can be watched on television on a special channel.
