TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – WhatsApp has become one of the most popular messaging apps in the world. WhatsApp recently issued a policy to shut down its services on a number of cell phone types with older iPhone and Android operating systems (OS).

Gadgets Now reports, especially for iPhone users, WhatsApp only supports it iOS 12 or later. While operating system users androidsWhatsApp is available at least OS 4.1 and later.

“To keep up with the latest technological advancements, we regularly stop supporting older operating systems to direct our resources to newer ones,” WhatsApp wrote via its official page.
