The Indonesian national team are in second place in the best runners-up thanks to a good goal difference after a crushing victory over Nepal. Fachruddin and his friends are only behind Kyrgyzstan who have collected seven points from three matches.
The only team that was eliminated in the competition for the best runner-up position was the Philippines. The Azkals have only collected four points from three matches.
Japan is the first country to have confirmed tickets for the 2023 Asian Cup itself. The Blue Samurai team holds a ticket to participate in the 18th Asian Cup on May 28, 2021.
