jpnn.comKUPANG – Head of Immigration Information and Communication Technology Section Immigration office Kupang Fitra Izharry delivered the latest news regarding the treatment of six Foreign Nationals (foreigners) from India who were stranded in Rote Ndao Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province.

According to Fitra, the six Indian foreigners have been detained at Kupang Immigrant Detention Center (Rudenim) awaiting a deportation order or trial.

“Currently, they are still being held at the detention center after being arrested at Rote Ndao regency,” Fitra Izharry told Kupang on Monday (1/30).

This was transmitted in connection with the case of the grounding of six foreigner from india early January, when he was about to cross to Australia in a wooden boat.

The six foreigners from India included Gurjot Singh, Satnam Singh, Karamjit Singh, Aman Singh, Satinder Pal Singh and Harshadkumar Natvarlal.

The six foreigners from India are adults and all are male.

Fitra said the six Indian foreigners were vetted by the intelligence and intelligence section and a case was opened.

“Till today, we are still awaiting the decision from the leadership whether the six Indian citizens will be deported or through legal means,” he added.
