Kalki 2898 M Movie Review
After the film released in cinemas across the world yesterday, audience reviews of protagonist Prabhas – both positive and negative – started pouring in on social media.
Many were captivated by the spectacle, science fiction, and special effects, calling it a “Hollywood blockbuster” and “something Hollywood.” Others found the acting, plot, or comedic moments lacking.
One film fan said: “I couldn't believe my eyes: was I watching an Indian film or a Hollywood blockbuster? The quality and graphics are uncompromising. In short, congratulations to the entire team. Proud of you all, especially Nag Ashwin. I love you, bro.
Another viewer said: “Stellar is an understatement. A remarkable and exciting achievement of Telugu cinema.”
Another viewer called it a “Hollywood thing”, while admitting that the first half of the film was “next level” but “dragged a little” in places.
Among those who were not impressed, one wrote: “The film is acceptable whenever Prabhas is NOT on screen. The world building is good but the first half is boring. And the comedy is a failure! There are some awkward moments too! So far, so bad! I hope it gets better in the second half!”
Another viewer called it “COMPLETE MAST” and “a heartbreaker for Prabhas fans”. “Filled with unnecessary cameos to cover up the failures and poor direction, no storyline.” “Looks like Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan, 200 Crore Loss Loading,” wrote a disappointed fan.
