Bollywood actress Kajol’s first look at her upcoming digital series, the Indian adaptation of The Good Wife titled The Good Wife — Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhoka launched on Thursday. In the first series, the actress will act as a lawyer.

Talking about playing a lawyer in the web series, Kajol, one of Bollywood’s most loved actresses, said in a statement, “I have played several characters throughout my acting journey but the first one is always special.” The first look was released on Disney+ Day.

Commenting on the benefits of OTT media, the actress said, “The beauty of OTT platforms is that they give creators and actors the opportunity to reinvent and experiment with different formats, and with Hotstar ‘The Good Wife’ Disney+, this is exactly what I have.”

He added: “As the first step in my career, I will be playing a lawyer in my first series, directed by the wonderful Suparn Verma.” The original series, The Good Wife, was created by CBS Studios in partnership with Scott Free Productions and King Size Productions. As soon as the first look was released, some netizens praised the debut and found the first look promising.
